Sometimes we have to stop and appreciate what God has done. Through your generous contributions over the years (we’re coming up on our 13th anniversary), Ndoto has grown from a fledgling little startup with 29 students to a thriving ministry. We’ve sponsored more than 500 students, built a church, launched several businesses, started a school, developed a compound, built a gym and huge sports ministry, and so much more.

Along the way, we’ve created jobs – so many of them. In the West we can underestimate the significance of a stable, salaried job that reliably delivers paychecks each month. We see job creation numbers each month on the news and it seems like a statistic, but in Kisumu, Kenya, and especially in our community, a job created is a family with newfound stability.
We’ve grown enough this year that we’ve had to build a leadership structure on our staff rather than just a simple team approach. There are 23 people on our Kenyan organizational chart, and we’re actively seeking 3-4 more in the next 12 months. Pastor Michael Omondi is still directing our Kenyan operations, and Mercy Gemini is the site director for our Obunga office. Susan Mandera leads our education team while Pastor Fred Sadia leads discipleship.
Thirteen years ago we never would have dreamed God would build this. |
